Mexico tangle has been done to death. I guess Caraviello forgets it was road course, not oval. We went trough this stuff in DC vs Massa/Melbourne thread. JPM simply wasn´t alongside enough to earn his slice of the corner - there was barely any overlap at all. That´s the way road course racing works...be it F1, V8 Supercars, Busch series, whatever. Then again JPM passed lots of cars on the way and knew due to constant yellows there weren´t going to be many opportunities to make the move. His fault, but everybody screws up now and then. It´s too bad nay-sayers only focus on last laps and forget the rest of the race. Aumann has lost it, too. Pruett sure as hell didn´t have it "in the bag".
When it comes to Ganassi, Chip will not tolerate current situation for long. Montoya isn´t far from top 12, but mostly because of consistency. Not because of fast car. Eventually he´ll get his share of bad luck, without top 10s and top 5s to make up for it. Sorenson and Franchitti better up their game, ASAP.
Mexico 2008, I´m rooting for Ambrose
