Martin Bogaert, a very good friend of mine, will very soon release an ultimate, most detailed book “An American in Paris…” on the INDIAN 74 MODEL 340 motorcycle with a huge collection of original pictures and documents.
To complete his vast archive, he asks if there are any TNF readers/members who owns such a motorcycle who want to share their photographs with him.
He’s also very interested in the motor numbers of the Indian 74 model 340 in the UK, this to complete his historic list. Thanks in advance!

LOLE, I can offer little but the fact that the first motorcycle I ever rode (1955) was an Indian Chief owned by a buddy. I remember being concerned that if the darned thing ever fell over, I'd never have the strength to right it!
