I do not know if this is possible and if it will bring copyright problems, but lets try :
Does anyone have the Autosport magazine issues about the 1972 Buenos Aires and Brands Hatch 1000 kms, in order to scan and present them here (or send them to me in a private mail) ?

I am particularly interested on the 1972 Merzario's Abarth and what he did in those races.

Many thanks and best regards !

Merzario raced different cars, at Buenos Aires it was the 1971 model, at Brands Hatch the SE021, the '71 car modified by Osella (bodywork, rear wing, gearbox)

fausto,

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I know the BHatch car was a much revised and better version than the BAires model.
I am looking for details about Merzario's performance and about the car (I mean photos, as I am doing a 1/32 model of it).

Best regards.

Yes, I know this site and also "racingsportscars".
I am looking for Autosport commentaries about those two races and for photos of the 1972 Abarth car.

Anyway, thanks for your help !

André,

Here is a picture from the Abarth of Merzario at Buenos Aires 1000 km in 1972. Merzario and Dini were DNF because of a broken driveshaft. I hope that it will help you.

Coming back to this thread, although changing subject a little bit ...

Does anyone have photos of Arturo Merzario driving the Ferrari 312 PB at 1971 Buenos Aires 1000 kms ?
That was the race where Ignazio Giunti died, driving this same Ferrari.

Photos of Merzario at the wheel, if existent, should be during practice, as Giunti's accident was before first refuelling.

Best regards to you all !

Well, I am looking for photos of the Ferrari 312 P (or PB) at Watkins Glenn, 1971 (drivers were Ickx and Andretti).

Car was # 40, that's all I know ...

Will anyone help me, please ?

Best regards !
