There are a bunch of tracks that suit the Bridgestones, as opposed to Stoner/Ducati per se. They would be Brno, Misano, Motegi, Philip Island and possibly Sepang. However Stoner's advantage is blunted given that Rossi is on the same tyre.
What Laguna showed was that if Rossi can qualify well then he has an opportunity to stick with Casey and cause trouble. I can't seem to download the lap analysis of MotoGP.com at the moment but my impression is that Casey was faster than Rossi when he had a clear track in front of him - he caught up the second that he lost after running wide at T2 in about a lap and a half. However Casey had trouble getting past and making it stick.
I'm calling it now: Rossi for the championship. He might lose four or five points here and there but will pick those back up on other occasions. I do hope the racing will be as close as it was last weekend though
ps. Lorenzo wins the Mario Kart "Wahoo - here we go" award for Best Air From A Highside. That was a scary SCARY flip.
