This is bugging me big time!

In this months Motorcycle Racer there is a picture of Gina ? on a Suzuki from the early 80's i think. Didn't this lady come over to race Transatlantic and Brands Hatch backed her or is my memory letting me down?

Er, call off the dogs, its Gina Bovaird i reckon. He said answering his own post....... :lol:

Correct - she rode in British 500s on a TZ in 1981, failed to qualify for the GP at Imola in '81, later switched to an RG500. She'd ridden in the 250 class at Daytona in 1980. Got a couple of photos somewhere....

Yeah, I remember the furore about Gina! Some of her rivals rather uncharmingly refered to the difficulties in overtaking her caused by her oversized "behind"...

I've seen worse. Also in bike racing.

It's all good. Mine was just an excuse to post a female posterior on a racing BB.

(on another BB I frequent there is a thread with grid girl photos. Wouldn't do here, however much an integral part of formula 1 racing it is nowadays).
