Big mistake! In the hands of Enno [one of the best Vee drivers around,IMO], that car was right up there with the best. And what a great sport he was too - he loaned me a pair of rear tyres [for what turned out to be my last Vee race] one day at Warwick Farm. After coming in 2nd behind Berni, I had to beg forgiveness from Enno, who came in 3rd. He just congratulated me! A true Gentleman.
If only he shaved!
Enno, known as 'He's No Businessman' if you hung around the Doug Heasman team when they were running against him, never drove on the road. Udo drove him everywhere.
Why?
Because in those times, if you lost your road licence you couldn't race. Enno took no chances!
