Hugo

Nothing that precise but in the Auto Italiana report there is a picture of a group of drivers which included "Raph" and Beltracchini. "Raph" would more than likely have been in one of the French cars and Beltracchini was racing the Ferrari 815/ Auto Avio during 1947. Almost certainly Balestrero would have been at the race. He raced everywhere with his Alfa Romeo 2300, an old "Monza" I believe, although that is in variance with the Stanguellini book that claims he was in a Fiat 2800 Stanguellini some of the time. At Torino, if Balestrero was there, it was not in the big Stanguellini.
From another photo in the Stang book #22 is definitely a Delage.

#46 Biondetti is his 4 litre Biondetti-Norton was at Turin, mentioned in another thread somewhere. Try BB.

An Alfa Romeo 2500 was being raced in that part of Italy by one Gurgo-Salice, another possibility.

Hugo, your #11 is Meyrat's Delahaye. Your #18 is a Delage.

I have the complete list somewhere, but not here. In a couple of weeks I might post it.

The photo below, as well as showing Chaboud's Delahaye, shows part of the list of starters.

There are a couple of discrepancies with the list which Alessandro published. No. 8 is shown as Minozzi and No. 38 is shown as Tullini.

Adam, I do not know what to say. I took the list down from Gazzetta dello Sport and Turin daily Gazzetta del Popolo of the Saturday before the race. No numbers for Lanza and Minozzi were given, so that a late change is possible.
