German mid 1960's Hill Climb

Had Christmas dinner with the inlaws today and my father-in-law mentioned a Hillclimb he took part in while doing service in Germany in the mid sixties. With memory slipping he could only bring up perhaps "Eva Bach Hillclimb". A search of WWW proved nothing so am sure the name is not correct and it could have been a one time small local event.

Interesting in that he used a good old USA issued Jeep to do his climb of the mountain. Got great pleasure in telling me they had to replace the half-shafts upon returning to the base. He was stationed in Mannheim.

Any ideas what the correct name could have been? I will be with him again on New Years and would love to share some information.
