Hello,
I try to find pictures of the Lascaut Salmson after WW2.
I know this car is a Grand-Prix Salmson (twin plugged engine #GP609)
But the shape of the car was modified in 1945-1946.
The car looks like a gordini or a Maserati.
If someone could find a picture, It could be great !
Moreover I am looking for the" palmarès" of Lascaut
I know he destroy his engine in a rally with the number 26.
But where ?
Thanks a lot !
Best Regards

According to Andre Biaumet's excellent book on Chimay Lascaut raced there 25th May 1947 as # 40, retiring in the race. Biaumet says "le Francais Gabriel Lascaut sur une Salmson "San Sebastian" habillee d'une elegante carrosserie moderne genre Maserati .."

Lascaut's Salmson.
Lascaut – a garage proprietor at the Porte d’Orleans in Paris - had his car re-bodied in neat contemporary style like he had done before the war with a rare Omega-6.
Photos of the Omega-6 (with a very similar body to the Salmson) in an article by S. Pozzoli, Fanatique Automobile, #77, 1975.
