Misnamed 1937 French Grand Prix

Does anyone have the entries INCLUDING race numbers for the 1937 French Grand Prix. It was run for sports cars that year at Montlhery. Many thanks.

Why do you say 'misnamed'?

That year the ACF decided that they would run their GP for sports cars, just as they did in 1936 and 1949 and the ACM did in 1952. It was still the Grand Prix of the Automobile Club de France

2nd Gianfranco Comotti (Talbot)
3rd Albert Divo (Talbot)

Just why am I reminded of Hagar the Horrible?

Something's definitely amiss here... over 90 minutes and no complete answer to the question...

There's something wrong with Martin's site today - I can't get to the French GP. I have notified him. Or perhaps it's just my computer showing its age more than usual.

It seems that Martin's server is just a bit slow. This happens often to me. You get a ready message before the full page has loaded, and then, whatever you try, you can't get past that point. The only thing that works for me is: Go to your browsers cache, delete the page you wanted, and then load it again. Usually it works perfectly the second time. But it really needs to be forced to re-read, and by brute force as well.

Clearly my 'Hagar the Horrible' quip has gone over heads here...

This comic strip once had an episode where Hagar and his mob had captured France. "Ah, now we have France we should eat some fine French food!" (or words to that effect) said Hagar.

So he and his mate sat down in a restaraunt, but quickly came up against a French waiter complaining that they weren't pronouncing the words correctly. An argument ensued and they, the conquering invaders, were thrown out of the restaurant.

With the final scene, Hagar and his friend are walking away in disgust, the waiter waving his fist at them in the background, and Hagar is saying, "The French, you can't deal with them!"

The 1937 French GP being run for Sports Cars tends to come under the same heading in my mind...
