I did not see anything posted through a bb search, but Denver Cornett Jr passed away on 11/19/2006. Mr Cornett will allways be linked with his MG TC and the 1948 Watkins Glen race, where he had the dubious distinction of being the first driver to roll his car over at the first event. I only met him a few times at MG Vintage Racer focus events, and was very nice and full of stories of the early days of racing. As I understand it, he was really good friends with the folks at the IMRRC and his same MGTC was on display there this past spring. Perhaps Mr Argetsinger, or one of the other fine people from the IMRRC can fill us in more on a man who was in on the US postwar sports car racing scene from the very beginning.

It would be nice to see Mike post in regard to Cornett's death, wouldn't it?
What age was he? Seems to me he had more than just a few laps up...
