The ex Mal Ramsay, ex Phil Moore “last of breed” type 300C SS69-10 has been bought by Grant Craft from Phil Segat and is headed to Hobart for Denis Cooper to be restored.

That will be worth seeing when its finished James. Denis is a very good operator - was Leon Burdon's mechanic for many years back in the day.

Grant’s keen on having Ron give it a critical appraisal, we’ll try and get Grant, Denis & Ron together with 67-4 & 69-10 so as to get the 300C just about exactly perfect!
69-10 looks to be largely intact, there does seem to be some remedial work required to get back to period correct presentation in a few areas.

Lindsay has a good colour shot of this car at Warwick Farm on his photo site with Phil Moore at the wheel on 7 May 1970.
I spoke to Phil yesterday, he remembers the car fondly, having bought as a virtually brand new car from Mal Ramsay after Mal had been offered a drive in a Waggott powered 600.
