We all know that KERS stands for Kinetic Energy Recovery System. The device recovers the kinetic energy that is present in the waste heat created by the car's braking process. It stores that energy and converts it into power that can be called upon to boost acceleration. But what if the acceleration was controlled via a clutch sub component, not a 2nd throttle pedal(like Mclarens 1998 car was which illegal), but a extention of the clutch to just control the KERS acceleration boost... Flich throttle combined with KERS is what Renault is looking into, and with Kubica out, they can experiment more with a proven champion and winner, yes that's Jacques. Alot of people menstioning Kimi, but there is another champion Renault is eying.

I spoke to a friend of Renault's Pat Symonds who had coffee with Jacques.

.JV is preparing his flich throttle technique, you heard it hear first, the flich throttle technique was invented by Senna, and when Senna tested a kart back in 1994, JV was there, they talked, and Senna gave the gille son some tips, JV had a operation on his throttle leg last year, he didn't reveal this to everyone, but he did, this was why he's hasn't returned to f1 for a bit, he's almost recovered, and I expect his speed of 1997 to return, don't be surprised if he outqualfies Petrov in Monaco, the flich throttle technique is gonna be his weapon.

Flich throttle is like tap dancing on the throttle in acceleration and breaking areas, a form of traction control, but with KERS it can work even better.

The last time Jacques was really on it was 2000, remember his demon starts and clutch control. From what I've heard he was injured in 2001, but hid it from everyone like Webber's injury in 2010 which he hid from his team, Jacques hid his injury, but it did effect his speed, he never told anyone. His flich throttle foot movements are not that different from Senna.

I'm glad you bringed that up, that reminded me to menstion that f1 drivers do snack on popcorn, I've seen it in Renault garages from time to time.

Popcorn could help prevent cancer, research suggests.

Scientists discovered the snack food contains 'surprisingly large' levels of health-boosting antioxidants called polyphenols.

F1 Nutrition is way ahead of the times, I remember Jacques having popcorn back in Montreal 1997.

I like this idea that Senna trained up his protege Villeneuve on the mystic kung fu art of the flich throttle. At a diner near Phoenix International Raceway, presumably. :D

Not sure KERS can be freely added to the drivetrain like you suggest until the 2013 engine regulations though... Which gives Jacques plenty of time to get back in training! He can win Le Mans and gain the motorsports 'Triple Crown' while he waits!

Jacques is key to the 2013 drivers market, no-one is signing anything until they know where he's going.

Schumacher endorsed his will to return last year. He remains a hidden element optional subsitute in the Bernie Eccelestone conference room colllection bucket where Kimi is also sitting for Renault in 2011.

They can still shift the reves/play about with piston engine positioning to free up space for a larger throttle pedal and clutch sub section v component for Jacque's Flich Throttle Movements.

IF NICK HEIDFELD DON'T IMPRESS RENAULT in the testing, THEY WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN KIMI AND JACQUES, 2 FORMER CHAMPIONS AND FRENCH JACQUES IN THE FRENCH TEAM RENAULT always makes sense for the utimate PR blockbuster for 2011

Damon Hill still has some unfinished business to deal with, which is why he is planning his return also. And Jackie Stewart still feels young enough to teach the new lads some respect.

In other news, scientists will announce next week that thinly sliced, deep fried and heavily salted potatoes are actually good for keeping vital organs strong and healthy !!

The Flich Throttle Technique is apart of forum folklore history! It was a discussion started like 5 years ago, before your time, so time has moved on, don't think many will remember it from the new generation of posters, here's a thread of yesteryear: Welcome to the party pal!

This is interesting because I remember MS once mentioning Ferrari DID offer a contract to JV! I wish I had saved that interview because for some kind of reason the media didn't really pick it up (maybe because it didn't fit in the image of the "coward" MS who vetoes strong teammates?) but I thought it was pretty interesting.

It was a couple of years ago. MS was asked why he never allowed a good teammate on his side and he said that is simply a myth. As an example he mentioned Ferrari did try to sign both JV and DC as his teammate (I think at the end of 1996) and it was never he who vetoed that but those two turned down the offer. I also remember the next week DC was asked about it and he admitted it was true. I have never heard a comment from JV on it though.

Keep the flich throttle discussions alive for the new decade, a new generation of forumers now get to experience what only the few have before. Fllich thread of the new year.

I'm surprised by the total disregard of Jacques for Chuck. He is the rightful flich throttle champion since he learned it from Bruce Lee in 1972 as seen in "The way of the dragon". In 1991, Chuck with his team and sponsor Popeye Chicken won the World Off Shore Powerboat Championships. Chuck went on to set a new world record by racing a 38 foot Scarab boat 605 miles across the Great Lakes from Chicago to Detroit. It took him 12 hours and 8 minutes. Only possible with flich throttle. Needless to say Renault are talking with the master, for sure.

Don't be silly, it still exists intact in the Ark of the Covenant, after Bernd Rosemeyer put it there for safe keeping. After all, as WhiteBlue's famous sig says, only Gilles Villeneuve has ever fully copied his style. :cat:

Chuck has had trouble driving ever since Bruce Lee broke his wrist with a twich similar to a flich, and I wouldn't be surprised if Senna learned a bit of jeet kun do, and transfered Bruce Lee's fist speed to throttle leg flich movements. If you look at Bruce Lee's precision in executed kicks, that sort of mentality and concentration, not thinking nor feeling, but concentrating on the moon and it's heavenly glory, it's not far from a Senna Monaco type pole.

We must use the positive vibes to improve ourselfs beyond these foruming walls, if we stay true to ourselfs, natural flich thrrotle explanations for formula one drivers will always be around in some form.

Absolute quality from Mr Valen :)

The constant pressures we put on ourselfs, like Ross Brawn recently menstioned, the external pressures from other forums can be visable, but I find our forumers put enough inward pressure on ourselfs to consistently churn out original work.

Legend. :D Jacques must return to pass on the lost art of flich throttle, else risk it being lost to all future generations.

Legend  The key to flich is probabley passing it on to Bruno Senna, since Ayrton spoke to Jacques, Jacques if he is up to it, should pass his knowelge on to Bruno, especially if he's not returning to Renault this year.

It is great satire. Thanks! Made me laugh all morning.

Glad I put something together, it was when I created the KERS Flich Throttle Evolution terminology in the article that pretty much gave me the confidence to see it all out, to see out the vision I had for the thread, pretty much like a single for a artist mapping out his album. Same creative posting process. :smoking:

Coming from memory, the first flich throttle post was back in 2005 in a post by me and it's when JV was teamates with Massa at Sauber in 2005, the actual thread was probabley done in the winter of 2004-2005, if you can find the first lost thread of the flich throttle technique done by me, you could be sitting on 5000 pounds, that' what a thread like that is worth on the forum black market. The original uncut unedited thread was saved by me on wordpad, like the lost dr who episodes from the bbc in the 60s, it must be sitting in someone's actic collecting dust. :smoking:

There's pictures of Senna talking to Jacques, that along with pictures of Jacques on a hospital bed recovering from his operation, I expect to be available to the press after Monaco sometime, it'll
be a big story.

We all know JV hasn't been fast since he came back, the drought set in, when he had a accident at home, hurt his leg, and his flich throttle technique which he calls it wasn't the same, he could tap on the throttle before his accident, now it's more of a hard press, and he's letting go of acceleration early to turn in, losing time, this was happening a bit when Panis was his teamate, and then Button, no wonder they were close to him on pace.

JV will be releasing a full article to the press after his Monaco performance. This is all that my source has told me.

Jack doesn't know about the Renault mole Nina. Twin sister of the Nina we know from the show and she wants revenge.

Hmm, mole - just wondering if the spelling is right here, sure it's not moll?

BTW, this thread is definitely gold!!

I was wondering whether I should share this, it felt like nothing at first, then it got me thinking, so much time had passed. About 2 months ago I saw Jacques at the gates of the Williams factory. I was late arriving, I didn't have any permission to see anyone, I just happened to have relatives in the area, driving past the gates of Williams, I decided to do a wheel spin, lay down some rubber for their f1 trucks, every little helps.

I then saw Jacques walking with Frank Williams, odd meet to happen in England after so many years...... :well: .  I was recently at the Abu Dhabi GP, and Frank Williams was chatting away with a journalist, so much speculation going about,

It all lead me to pretty much relay what I heard, JACQUES IS GOING TO CO-OWN WILLIAMS WITH SIR FRANK!  He was the last Williams champion also, good PR cohesion. to be co-owner, good on paper. Jacques did want to drive a f1 car again, as with my previous stories, it was all ready to go, Jacques was willing to put it all at risk again, up in the air, so very high in the air,  ownership  became more enticing.

Now will Jacques influence the technical department? You bet.

Frank and Jacques were eyeing a new factory sub sectioned into divisions on merchancial grip, yet one part is being primed for the Flich Throttle Technique, a pioneering new development to the flich is a sub-divider pedal brace, it hooks the left/right foot to a specific angle to heightened the sensitivity of the pedal and get more precison as the driver feeds the throttle through.

Racing has seen many changes over the years, aero, tyres, engine regulations, yet what about changes in what the pedals and legs can do? This is the future, microchips are everywhere, AI is getting near sci-fi levels with drones being used by Amazon.com.  The process of throttle control, and the return to less driver aids creates a new opportunity for a team like Williams to pounce like no other time since their Renault hey days of the 90s.

Jacques and the flich throttle pedal brace technology is going to make Williams the team to beat in the next 4-5 years. Jacques will not come out, nor Frank about this news until 2016 May/June time, my estimate, I wanted to get it out now for you dedicated f1 fans who keep the spirit alive of all things f1 speculation and debate.

I want to pass on my acknowlegements to the men and women who have followed my on-going mission over the years to follow what I think is the next evolution of racing, the Flich Throttle technique. Merry Christmas To Flich Throttle Fans  Around The World.
