Not sure why my opinion is particularly required? As Ensign says, it was a cock-up. And then the D'wing made it worse, or at least its driver made it worse.
Still, the inevitable D'wing retirement was delivered to the waiting masses.

So because the car CANT TURN, the best solution is to attempt a tighter one instead of letting the car run straight and going around?

He seemed to be going faster than the other traffic. That means the problem was the driver, not the car.
