I have a photo that I took at Mosport Park in 1985 which proves that a PRS did race in FF2000, but did it race before 1983?

The URS Classic FF2000 Championship caters for cars up to 1983 (which is probably how you came to be contacted in the first place) and there are no PRS models mentioned in their list of eligible cars.

A shame, because the car in your pic looks quite tidy.

I think Lechner may have had Delta FF2000s prior to that. The PRS was a good looking car, although I only saw it in a workshop in Welwyn.

The second "Motor Racing Directory" printed in 1981 makes no mention of a PRS FF2000 car either past or planned at that point.

I know that no cars raced in the UK but I'm thinking of the rest of the world.

There was a FF2000 PRS in 1982 as far as I can remember. It was commissioned (I believe) by Walter Lechner and raced by Dave Coyne - mainly in Germany.

Walter Lechner was the German Agent for PRS so I can believe he was involved. Some race results with Coyne's PRS included would be very good indeed

According to Autosport the PRS 83SF was their first FF2000 car and was launched at the 1982 FF Festival. Its first race was at the televised Thruxton meeting on 13 November 1982, where Dave Coyne finished 4th.
Thanks Tim. I'll pass the info on to the interested party.

Damned if I can find it, but whilst it was in black and white, it looked as though the car was yellow / gold / light green / light blue or something of that ilk.
Edit: Not the picture I was thinking of, but not a bad one - http://www.astauto.c...s/car795_03.JPG
