Yes , a fantastic find by Simon , some Irish TNF members were seen making low passes over north Down when it was revealed that the Box had been found , all to no avail it was buried deep in undergrowth ,I am looking for the IMRC box used at the Limerick grand prix and the phoenix park .

The box was below the Crossle Car Company in Rory's Wood, just outside Belfast. John Crossle had used it as a store and passed it onto a neighbour. It is now dry stored at my home and will be reconstructed in my hayshed. I have film footage of it at Dundrod but I am still looking for a good colour photo. It was first used in 1950 and after the TT the motor bike boys used it for the Ulster GP.

John Crossle also had a fair amount of the 'hardboard' pit board hoardings from Dundrod in the mid sixties as my father got some from him and he used them for sheeting some wooden garages that he'd built. Did not think of the historical significance at the time as some had oil companies names, etc on them and all were destroyed when we moved house in 1967. Not sure if they were similar in colour to timing box Simon but they were 'powder blue' in colour, actually not that far away from the top of the band around this box!

A friend has one of these wooden boards. It is pale blue and carries Frazer Nash. The hut had banners across the lower section, below the windows, such as Dunlop and Lucas. I have found some of these no longer used by a local motor cycle club.
