Fastest man in F1.

Same conditions/car/track.

Also Lewis was giggling and joking about.

Also 1.42.9.

If anything, you look like the fanboy, why are you trying to start an argument between fans?

:D Hopefully both sides will have realised it's just a bit of fun.

Nice induced oversteer from Hamilton in the final couple of turns; similar to how he took it in the wet.

So, what F1/ non-F1 racer would we like to see next? Kimi? Loeb? Tony Stewart (albeit not a known name in the UK)?

Care to elaborate?

I missed LH and just saw Hammond drive a yellow penis around.

Not this BS again  , the last thread was closed due to 'fanboys' bickering, i thought driver threads are banned to prevent this threads growing like mushrooms, either have the driver threads back on or delete these pointless topics altogether.

(a decision, i still have no clue on why the MODs did it  ) <- It was explained clearly enough, don't mention it again in the forum!

Basically Keke was trying to sexually arouse Anthony Hamilton.

According to the F1 viewers thread we have lost 98 million viewers in the Hamilton/Vettel era.

I'll make this clear from the get-go - keep this thread for discussion of Hamilton's lap and the segment/discussion surrounding it.

Any further comments along the 'my driver is better than yours' lines and the thread will be closed.

Anthony, Keke, Lewis and Nico were all in a car going to a karting race in Italy, Anthony was driving. They were going down this country road with fields either side, they were 1m from road level. Keke decides to pull the handbrake and they veer off the road down the ditch and are stuck. They got out and all walked to the track.

Nice little story.

:rotfl:

Some good stories and nice chat from Lewis  Wouldn't take too much from the laptime - thought it was obviously nice to see him fastest for probably the only time this year :D

Reminds me of how Berger&Alesi crashed Jean Todt´s Lancia.

I have it on good authority that Vettel veto'd a move for Lewis because he's so scared of him.

He seemed very happy and at peace with himself which was nice to see. He also confirmed the PR engagements are a lot less at Mercedes.

So Seb would beat Lewis in a RedBull? 1.1 seconds says no.

It was interesting hearing Lewis talk so openly about the crash. If he was at McLaren would they have let him speak so openly? I'm not so sure. Also the fact that he said it hurt his legs was a bit of a surprise to me, the images of the aftermath showed the damage and it didn't look like a hefty impact to me.

To those using this as evidence to say Lewis is superior to Vettel - It's just a bit of fun so don't look into it too much, however it was a pretty nice lap!

Yeah I read he hit the barrier at 60 (think it was kph) but Schumi hit that fence at 60 mph back in 1999 and maybe the safety bits weren't as stringent for a test.
as for the lap- at least if it goes belly up at Mercedes, he has a tin top career

Looks on entrance like he cut the same corner again as last time but conveniently this part is missing from the footage ;)

First thing I thought about was:

And the response of the driver after the crash, having suffered pain to the legs. It's a heavy shunt with a lot of energy to be released. It has to go somewhere and although strapped in safely, it can hurt.

Funny, it was in my footage. And he didn't cut it.

Not that I'm claiming he is realistically 1.1s faster than Sebi over a 43-second lap, but still.
