Replacing Mark Webber I guess
Hope he can give us an insight into the differences between McLaren and Mercedes

The first difference is clear just from the fact he now has his own column. No words from Lewis needed!

Doesn't he already have that with Twitter?Guess this will make it a bit more difficult for benson and bbc to be unfairly critical of hamilton

Still, looking forward to it. Should be entertaining reads.

I would say that Lewis will write that. At least Mark was writing it like thatI have mixed feeling on this. Is he really going to write this column or will it be a PR piece written by someone from XIX that he approves? If he does write it, how much "behind the curtain" stuff will he let us see? I don't think Lewis is political by nature so I'm hoping it won't be a propaganda vehicle for him.

McLaren controls everything. This is OT but I am sure McLaren made sure he did not contact Sutil during his legal troubles. For me it was a shame on Lewis part but then again he sold his soul to the
Back to topic Webbers column was great, lets see what Lewis can do. He is never short of giving insights so looking forward to it provided its about F1. I just hope its not about his lastest fishing trip with Alonso, or playing play-station online with Heiki or popping over next door to see Nico and his GF.

If made up, that would be outrageous.
Maybe he'll comment on his relative freedom in his column.

It's Hamilton's column so he will write about what he thinks is important to write about. There will be those who will like it and those who don't will not read it - that is obvious and inevitable.

Exactly, just as Webber wrote about his love of other sports, Lance Armstrong, his own charity events, new contract, etc. He'll write what he wants.

Well he already commented he can keep his racing Helmet. I thought it was only the trophies McLaren kept.

Actually, Webber didn't "write" anything, and I wouldn't expect Hamilton to either.

Yep. As with Gary Anderson they have a (phone) chat with Andrew Benson - who by the way must have the day of his life - and he'll type it into something worth reading. I liked how they did it with Webber. Webber being Webber and all.

Very good news. I'm a little surprised actually as I have always thought that the BBC are not too keen on Lewis. I'm looking forward to reading his new column.
I think it's all about getting as much traffic to their website as possible.

I think he needs to move on now from comparing everything to McLaren. We get it. Theres a culture difference. We already know that.
It's topical. People will be interested to hear how he's found the move. I don't even know why I'm repyling to you. Perhaps let more than 1 article come out before you've made your mind up? Or was Mark Webber's series so perfect that you haven't been able to emotionally let go? I found it interesting to hear his mood and experiences from his mouth rather than some self righteous guardian journo or agenda-based fan for once.
