outrageous not to obey team orders to.

Alonso is the best at masking it if you ask me. And the funniest one when he can take no more!Senna, Schumacher, Alonso, Vettel over the past 25 years.

But would Alonso have done what Vettel did today?

I don't think the OP was focusing solely on on-track behaviour. Other than that I agree with you.It isn't Alonso. He's one of the fairest / cleanest on-track, and I don't say that as a fan of his.

Alonso ruthless? his driving doesnt put other drivers lives at risk like schumacher's did.
It has to be Vettel, because he seems to like running himself or other drivers close to the wall.

What I was trying to say was that FA's ruthlessness (for want of a better word) doesn't include on-track stuff, so he's not the most complete in that respect.I don't think the OP was focusing solely on on-track behaviour. Other than that I agree with you.

Fixed that for you. Thank you.Today we see outrageous things like Vettel ignoring team orders bc he thinks he is by default always faster than his teammate. In other seasons we've seen things like driver blackmailing his team with threats of showing emails to Mosley. Other times we've seen drivers hold up their teammates in pitlane so they can't do another lap in qualifying.

Something like that - he's too fair on track to be Dick Dastardly is all I'm really saying. So you feel Alonso is ruthless in PR and in the way he treats his team, but in racing he is more like Raikkonen, Button, etc. Vettel the more Senna type?

Ruthless in his mindset, but more clean and effective on-track than dirty/knife-edge stuff. Vettel is trying to be hardcore but can only pull it off with half-baked tricks like Australia 2011, Hockenheim 2012 and Monza 2012. Sometimes when he's in the same circumstances as others it works correctly and he has a VERY good move (divebomb at Sutil in Australia, outside pass at Barrichello in Brazil 2009, credits for that) but I think his mindset is wrong and he tends to push the boundaries beyond the rules where f.e. Schumacher was pretty much always closer to that AND more effective. So you feel Alonso is ruthless in PR and in the way he treats his team, but in racing he is more like Raikkonen, Button, etc. Vettel the more Senna type?

You seriously think he'd have to do that? I think we've seen before, it just doesn't come to that with Fernando, it's much easier.
