Anyone hear of this yet? I just found out myself while nosing around on Steam and noticing that this game will be out this month, at least in early access form.

What is it?

A racing game with different car classes based on historical eras of F1 and such. The cars themselves look VERY similar to F1, and the very interesting thing is that you can make your own car. Shape and size are up to you, and you can add whatever you like such as barge boards and the like. Colour scheme, decals, livery features, that's all up to you as well. This is the part that has me very interested. Even if the game is slightly arcade-like (I'm not certain of this yet, but it's definitely not a sim), I'm still hoping to give it a go whenever it's available.

My only beef thus far is that it looks like there's zero collision detection in online multiplayer. I suppose it would be nice to avoid the people who intentionally hit others or don't know how to race cleanly, but this also hampers immersion a great deal. Hopefully it can be toggled on/off, because I'd rather have it on if I'm racing against competent players.

I think it sounds pretty ambitious according to the Steam page. Definitely not for sim fanatics, but sounds like it could be a decent racing game. http://store.steampo...com/app/264120/

Also, says that collision detection can be turned on or off, so that puts one of my fears to rest.

Seems like a F1-styled Trackmania. That one of the guys means it is Grand Prix Legends meats TF2 seems to be that something is very very off.

Oh, and it is Pay-to-Win. I will not play it (unless I get a review-copy, and by such is obliged to do it)

Looks like a fun concept. I might keep an eye on this.

Upon doing some research, I've come to the conclusion that this game isn't pay to win at all and that was a false assumption. The developers are also removing the in-game cash shop which is a great move in my opinion. I've been reading that the physics aren't entirely realistic, but that doesn't surprise me. This game clearly aims to be closer to, say, Trackmania than rFactor. The car building seems very interesting though, and I've seen some really accurate looking recreations of F1 cars.

This looks like a decent little time killer. I'm really interesting in designing cars and liveries, so I'll probably give this a go sometime soon now that it's available on Steam.
