Is anyone planning on going in 2015? And does anyone have any tips after attending previous tests? I can see how to get to the circuit by train (and will probably take a taxi from there) but beyond that there's not much information around. Will they have food and drink facilities, how does one buy tickets, etc....

I'm going to the final test - I alsot went to Barcelona for winter testing in 2013.
You can buy the tickets at the gate and they have food and drink on sale inside (the usual burgers, chips etc) as well as a few merchandise stalls. The whole circuit was open to walk round with a selection of Grandstands open. Paddock and pit-lane are not accessible for general admission tickets (unless you book via one of the hospitality companies). The weather can be very variable, the first day I was there was absolutely freezing and there was snow on the surrounding hills but the 2nd day I ended up getting sunburnt.

Thanks, that's very helpful. I imagine there'll be more to see on the final test, so I'll probably aim for that one too.

There is more information about the tests now on the website
http://www.circuitca...php?c=25&ed=182
Tickets are €15 for Thursday/Friday and €20 for Saturday/Sunday and free if you have Spanish GP tickets
(There is also a 'behind the scenes' tour for €70)
Tickets can be prebooked on line https://proticketing...das/evento/2776 or at the circuit.
Gates and ticket offices will open at 08.00 and include gates 2, 3 and 7 (plus 1 for weekend days)
Car parking in car park A
Grandstands open are: Main, I, F, N, H and G as well as all the usual general admission sections.
The Pelouse Privilege area will be closed on Thursday and Friday, and will be opened on Saturday and Sunday. (This is the area inside turn 1 and I would definitely recommend checking it out)

Thanks Exb!
Just both a ticket for this Saturday
To my surprise, one of the conditions written on it states than no photo and videocameras are allowed.
Will they let me in with an entry level DSLR and a compact tele zoom lens?
Does anyone have experience with this from the last year or the years before, and was there such a text on the ticket as well?
Thanks a lot and regards...

Yes your fine to take photos, as long as they are for personal use.
Have a great time and it would be good if you could share your photos in the testing thread!
