Likewise, it was good to finally meet Alan Cox who I know now I have seen a various motorsport events around the country.

A testing quiz, excellent pies and good company made for an entertaining evening. Thanks to Andrew and his excellent team.

Hi Guilherme, I'm sure there will be a Northern meeting or two next year, although they are few and far between these days. Not sure whether it will merit travelling all the way from Portugal just for a meeting, but it would be great to meet you if you manage it.

It wouldn't be just for the meeting, I may go with my Mother to visit an old friend of our parents (my Ftaher has to stay here because of his work), and perhaps visit a circuit or some collection. Or just catch a train and offer my Mother her chance to come back to Wales.

Is it worth considering a meeting before the end of the year? I’m on holiday for the next two weeks so the next Thursday I can make is the 29th.

Is there any interest in another meeting prior to the end of the year. The lack of response seems to indicate that there isn't!   

If this could be arranged for December 25th, I could be interested...… 

I can't do Dec 26th - clashes with the Plum Pudding meeting at Mallory Park...

Occasional poster, missionary Trunnion, is still trying to sell a 1971 Autocourse.  Not sure if any of you are near/interested?

As we seem to have stalled somewhat... why don't we combine a NW TNF meeting with some other event? Oulton, Donington… dare I suggest it... Swift Gallery (I got my legs chopped orf last time I suggested that)?

No problem with any just so long as they don't clash with other events. 

May I suggest if we do get together at a race meeting we also call in at a local hostelry for a meal on the way home?

i'm all in favour of the Sergeant's suggestion. Post Donington, anyone?

As for Swift Gallery I'm not yet in a position to offer any dates but please keep a visit (or more!) in mind.

As we, collectively, do not seem to be able to organise a piss-up in a pub... how about we attempt to at least assemble in an unruly mob at the Gold Cup?

If I do go to Oulton Park for the Gold Cup meeting it will just be on the Saturday as I am at Harewood on the Sunday.

OK guys, let’s see if we can at least get some of us together. I’m working, so will be there every day; also will have a Lotus in the clubs display area.

Saturday I plan to be in and around the paddock in the morning and then trackside in the afternoon. Not sure where I'll be trackside just somewhere I can get reasonable pics without catch fencing.

Monday only for me I'm afraid

Not working but I'll be there each day. Austin-Healey Sprite on display with Midget and Sprite Club or BGT with MGOC in club display area.

If I do go to Oulton Park for the Gold Cup meeting it will just be on the Saturday as I am at Harewood on the Sunday.

Change of plans, due to aggravating an old hip injury I'll not be going as I don't want to make it worse and be limited to what I can do at Harewood the following day.

I was planning to go on Monday but serious family issues and a pending holiday have frustratingly left very little time to get all the work completed before I go.

So, Monday is looking favourite. I'll be "working" but will be circulating so hopefully will bump into "everyone" at some point. Watch this space.

Will be there from late tomorrow morning until the conclusion, almost certainly in the company of a Costa cup and its owner.

Look forward to seeing all whose paths I cross.

On The Buses sounds great Rob. Assuming there will be some of Jack's Clippies aboard...

Slightly O/T, but I'm missing my Tauranac/Ralt/Honda book. Have I lent it to to anyone on here? Don't need it back yet, but I'd like to know where it may be!!
