I'm sure that we (at least in Britain) have all seen adverts for https://www.f1carcollection.com/ They are being a little coy about the subjects for the 60 models. Hopefully the collection will include cars that have never (to my knowledge) been produced, eg Jack Brabham's Championship winning car. I expect that the first few models will be available pretty well anywhere and in time it will reduce to subscription only. However the website FAQ's do say that you will be able to obtain ones you missed by contacting Panini.
I wonder which maker[s] they are getting their models from.

Ixo, possibly?
It took me ages to find an MP4/4 without a bent rear-wing.

There was a recent discussion in the Paddock Club about this collection, bemoaning the removal of every last vestige of tobacco sponsorship from the relevant models, thus making some of them look very naked. It rather spoils their claim that the models are 'realistic in every detail'.
Indeed, quite annoying practice and not only in this collection, reminds me the old Soviet Union where Stalin ordered the removal of the images of Trotsky when he appeared in pictures together with Lenin. Re-writing and of course deforming History. Same here, I am afraid

Since I have ten thumbs, I struggle with even the simplest white metal kit. A 1:43 scratchbuilt model is way beyond my capabilities.

They promote this series now also in Germany. Is there somewhere a list of models they are planing to release?
