"Roy von Vost" , what cars did he race? I have him driving a Porsche in four events, three times at Montlhery and once at Spa. Why was he

using a pseudonum. I know sometimes heirs of fortunes use one because Daddy will cut them out of the will if he finds out they are racing....

According to a post by Charles Edouard at the French forum Autodiva, his real name was André Lacourbe and he apparently hailed from Courbevoie.

Among the cars he owned was a Porsche 904 c/n 063. A bit more detail here - he was also known variously as 'Lacourbe de Vost' and 'Roy Vost': http://vactek.tripod...sisnumbers.html

Hello. Roy Von Vost was a French Driver from Courbevoie (92) near Paris. He drove a Porsche 356 Super 90 and after a 904 GTS (904-063) he had a terrible crash in 1965 Spa 500 km, he could almost died but he survive. He drove one time the car after the crash and was arrested by French Police. He was a swindler pretended to be a notary without any licenses. But the car was at him during the time he was in prison. When he left the prison, the guy who kept the car for almost 10 years send him a crazy price for storage the car in his garage, Roy Von Vost couldn't paid so the garage sold the car.
The real name of roy von vost was André Lacourbe.
Today the car still have her original number 15 on it since her last race in 1966 at Montlhéry. The most original 904 in the world.

Sorry for my poor english.
