The highlight of the FIAWEC season is obviously Le Mans.
But is there room for another race in France during the season?
I'm thinking a 6 Hour race at Paul Ricard. The same country but a different setting. And it could be held later (or earlier) in the season.
What do you think?

Paul Ricard is so so boring.
Magny-Cours is lovely though!

Unless it is done either in April or October nope.
France cannot host a car racing race effectively from may to august bar Le Mans and Pau.
By effectively i mean by generating enough media interest.
That is why i believe F1 GP shall be host either by the end of August or early in September in order to generate enough interest from french sports media.
All french media attention is locked from may to end of july.
May - Rolland Garros
June - Le Mans
July - Tour de France

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Heck no. There are too few races per season for 2 races/season in the same country to make sense.

Hmm, good point.
I agree that the Grand Prix should be held in late august/early september.
I say just before the Italian Grand Prix. The Cote d'Azur is filled with people so the stands wont be empty.
