Now this sounds interesting. Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Racing Games have revealed images from the upcoming Isle of Man TT game due to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC later this year.

I hope they would pay also respect how dangerous and notorious the event is by removing option to restart event if you crash.

I would like that however with it being on consoles I'm sorry but there is no chance whatsoever of that happening :(

But yeah, this looks great!  just hoping it's not too 'dumbed down'.

Edit:-  ughh I just saw it's Bigben Interactive.. need to tone down my expectations by around 600% :(

It's got very limited content, it's not particularly polished and only ever likely to appeal to the real TT fans - but if you want the chance to convincingly feel like you're pushing a motorbike round the full TT course, this is worth every penny. The track is beautiful. The detail is amazing and it's extremely accurate. The handling and physics aren't perfect, but they're pretty good. The sense of speed is incredible from first person view, down to the sound of the wind rushing past and the movement of the bike. It's a brilliant technical demo of simulating riding on the TT course - not much more that that, but enough for me.

Also it runs beautifully on the base Xbox One.

Im glad someone has developed a game for it as the only one before this must be well over ten years old.Its one of those weird tracks   where being so massive in length it was never going to be tacked onto any other random racing game .Ill be buying.

I think there's a bit of a fundamental handling/physics issue with it - all it takes is slightly too much lean and the bike just oversteers helplessly into the trees. You can't always control it. Sometimes you crash and think 'what the hell happened there'. Maybe it's realistic, but for a game it's a bit much. The bikes are reasonably ok once you get the hang of them, but the sidecars seem borderline uncontrollable at the moment.

I love everything else about it, though. The TT course is beautifully realised. I still can't win a 'big bike' race though. I play on the higher difficulty levels because on the lower ones it's easy to win by a minute plus. On 'medium' and above, everything I do I still finish second, if I start from the front I'll be cruising round seemingly miles ahead of everybody then on the radar I'll see this little pink dot coming up behind me and the game's up. I can win on a Supersport, though.

Bit of thread stirring from the dead here, but if you have XBOX Gold, this game is one of the freebies next month.

There's a sequel out in the summer which hopefully will sort out the handling issues of the first game.

It's quite satisfying, sometimes, when you get it hooked up and the recreation of the TT course is stunning. But only so many times you can see your bike oversteer off into the hedge at the drop of a hat.

Yeah, it comes out tomorrow I think. I’ve preordered it. Looking forward to giving it a go - always thought the first one was an amazing game let down by poor handling and hopefully the sequel has that ironed out.

So far seems like a slightly polished up version of the first game but with less demanding/less stupid handling.

I’d hoped for a bit more admittedly - but long term I think that’ll do me.
