I know most of this forum is about computerized simulators. But, there are still boardgame enthusiasts in the world and racing games are naturally part of it.
This past weekend I played Championship Formula Racing with the designer and a crew of experienced players. It was a very nicely done game.
Here is a link to the designer's webpage and a description of how he designs a track based on data from Formula One, Brembo Brakes and his own viewing of laps.
I have no affiliation with the game or company. I just happened to play it and think it is superior to the alternatives on the market.
