Anyone who is going to Red bull Ring this year? I am planning to and this is going to be my first GP attendance.

So far it looks the sale hasn't been great and general admission for Sunday is 95 Euros and for all three days 105 Euros.

In case anyone has been there already, I have following questions:

- How early should one get there? The race is at 1500 hrs, is 1300 hrs arrival at the Knittelfeld Bahnof ok to make it to circuit by 1500?
- I read there are free shuttles from Knittelfeld Bahnof to the circuit, where do they drop at circuit? Is that point near to general admission area?

I live around 2 hours from Spielberg, so train is what I am taking. Any other inputs would be appreciated.

P.S Is it worth investing in a binoculars?

So just replying to this topic in case anyone ends up here searching for same questions:

- Reached circuit around 11 (F2 race was on). The general admission area was already quite occupied since morning, but it was big enough that you could find a good spot to watch. The congestion began only after 1 pm (2 hours before race)

- The bus shuttle drops out at a point, from where the walk to general admission area can take up to 20-30 minutes depending upon the person's speed. Beware, it is an uphill walk so can require some struggle for those not used to it. The start-finish grandstand and the last corner are nearest (you just see them when you enter the circuit).

- Go with binoculars. I sat at T3 exit, and I could see T1/T2 and some later turns like T5,6 with binoculars quite clearly. Best decision to take them to the race.
