Oh no that's terrible news!! so sad to hear, Nigel holds a unique record as a winner on 2 & 3 wheels on the TT course, and also the first ever 2 stroke winner of the Senior MGP, all, topped off by being a really nice guy too.

RIP Nigel

Email received via the Admin account from Nigel's daughter Rachel, quoting her Facebook post:

It is with deepest regret that we as a family have to post our devastating news, something that has come to us as a complete shock! (some of you may already know).

It is something we thought we would NEVER be posting for years but, yesterday we lost our Fabulous Dad,  an awesome Grandad, loving husband, big brother and a friend to MANY!!

It was very sudden and totally unexpected and we don't know how yet other than he was taken too soon!
As you can imagine we are all utterly heartbroken and completely devastated.
We will keep you updated with funeral arrangements as soon as we know.

God bless Dad, may you ride high, hard and fast with your pals up there! God Speed!

We love you with all our hearts and souls, stay close and rest in peace xxxxxxxxxxx
