Hi

By any chance, do any TNFers have a copy of the German-language publication from 2008,  “Klaus Steinmetz: “Ein Leben für den Motorsport” ?

In the chapter covering 1970 - “Der Blitzstart” (from P.64 onwards; I have been able to find a copy of the contents on the web, but nothing more) - there is apparently a commentary on the elusive Martha Grand National race, which took place at the Österreichring on 25.10.1970.

If anyone has a copy of the book and would be willing and able to share a scan of the relevant page about the Martha Grand National race, it would be hugely appreciated. Please feel free to send me a PM if easier.

Thanks all.

I have got the book here in my hands. Scanning is a bit difficult, because the pages are wider than A4. The Martha Grand National gets all of 9 lines on page 87. Will try to scan now.

For me it works. Hope that the resolution is sufficient. The first character of each line is a bit vague, but it is readable

Thanks guys - that it really helpful and very much appreciated. This race is virtually unreported in the contemporary sporting press, so any snippets of information that elaborate on what actually went on are gratefully received.
