Mobile/Full version now follows me between devices

For the last few days (it seemed to change after the forums went down the other day), if I view the full version of the forums on my laptop, it will also change to the full version next time I use my phone. And when I change it back to the mobile version on my phone, it then makes the same change next time I'm on my laptop. As I say, this is a recent thing, and it can't be intended behaviour. Are other people getting this?

What hardware/software are you using?

 

I find that my Windows 10 laptop running Chrome will always remember the "Atlas F1" orange theme, which I use because the standard theme doesn't always display the top bar menu correctly.

 

On my iPhone it always runs the mobile version.

 

What I have had happen for years is that my iPad will repeatedly switch back to mobile even when I set it to "Atlas F1".

I'm using Windows 10 on my laptop and Android on my Samsung phone and the Brave browser on both (like Chrome but blocks most ads).

I've been having this same issue for the past couple of days, is there a way to solve it?

I find that going Mobile (Default) -> Desktop -> Mobile on my phone will cause the mobile site to appear on my desktop. If I switch back to the desktop version while on my desktop, each device will use the version of the site it's intended to use.

Worst case scenario, you should be able to solve it by clearing your cache/cookies.

This has happened to me on and off for a while -- I think for me it was caused by having two sessions on the go simultaneously, i.e. still having the forum open on my laptop and then checking it on my phone, or vice versa.
