Heya Racing aficionados. I'm making this thread so we have a space where we can share all GT3 stuff. And I mean ALL GT stuff. First race of the newly rebranded Pirelli World Challenge as Blancpain GT World Challenge America is going green this weekend over at COTA in the heart of Texas; tune in on Youtube for some much needed heartfelt racing.
Race 2 is live now from Cota. Some racing for all y'all starving racing fans. From next weekend onwards we'll be swimming in them. 'til then enjoy some GT action.
After such a fantastic opening round of the Intercontinental GT Championship at Mount Panorama I've been really looking forward to round 2 at Laguna Seca next week but haven't been able to find an entry list. The website (https://www.intercon.../116/laguna-seca) hasn't even got a provisional list and just say's it's "not available" even with the race only 8 days away. Anyone know who's going to turn up yet ?

Ouch! I was riding along with the #917 Porsche as it was chasing the #960, and all of a sudden there was a spun car facing the wrong way in the middle of Adenauer Forst. Both Porsches went off the track in avoidance and the #917 is now retiring at Ex-Mühle.

20 cars for a race that long? At least it's a short course!
A high quality field with representatives for outright GT3 honours from 8 manufacturers (Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, Bentley, BMW, Nissan, Honda and Ferrari) although I'd have liked to see the new McLaren 720S GT3 entered by someone. I'm surprised there aren't a few more GT4 entries but it promises to be a good event anyway.
CBS Sports Network will carry both the start and finish of the race live on Saturday, 11am-2pm ET and 6-8pm ET.
Full streaming coverage of the race, as well as Friday’s qualifying and Super Pole will be available on the official IGTC website, https://www.intercon...llenge.com/live
Woot woot! Thanks for the much needed update there Paul.
Very much looking forward to the race. GT3s, The Christina and one of my favorite track in the world for 8 hours? Sign me up for some Motorsport medicine.
The 8 hour race i can't get excited or interested about at all, i want too. But 20 car's for the race is awful means it will get boring quickly & i will lose interest in it fast. Does anyone know why there is such a poor turnout for this race. I know the Mugello 12 hours is also this weekend is that partly the reason?
The Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia season starts this weekend at Sepang. + Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia + TCR Asia + Formula 3 Asia + F4 South East Asia
The Super GT season will start this weekend at Okayama *. Making their GT racing debut are young European former F3 drivers Álex Palou and Sacha Fenestraz in the GT300 class alongside young Japanese former F2 driver Nirei Fukuzumi. https://supergt.net/...19/Round1/gt500
