Not to my knowledge...

And the early issues, prior to August 1963, are extremely rare. Except for the very first issue, which was reprinted later in an anniversary issue.

Whoops... I should add this:

The results of each race were not included for the first few years. However, Australian Motor Sports did provide those.

I would have to check to see when they stopped including all race results, but probably about the same time as RCN started.

It's probably fair to say that the bones of Racing Car News magazine is locked away in what is now Chevron Publishing Group/Next Media in Sydney. in 1993 RCN was relaunched as Motor Racing Australia, then nearly 10 years ago that title was merged into MotorSport News - a fortnightly Aussie publication (not the UK one) that had been taken over by Chevron. That too is defunct.

The current Chevron title 'Australian Muscle Car' relies heavily on old RCN info to cover their subjects. But I very much expect that there would be little commercial viabilty for them to do like what the UK's Motor Sport magazine did in the early 2000's and produce a CD of their back catalogue.

No harm in asking I guess via https://www.chevron.com.au/

Of course much of the bigger Australian races or series can be gleaned from those that have done the hard yards privately and put them on the web over the years.. There's the Sargent site for Tasman stuff, oldracingcars site and maybe via the wayback machine David Shaw's Gold Star site can still be found.

Given the Bathurst centric nature of Australian motor sport there might even be sites dedicated with details for it or via the supercars websites. But most of that is out of my care factor - certainly the supercars.

I do have the magazines to cover all the sixties, with the proviso that periodically AMS would miss the odd race meeting...

If there are specific needs you have I might be able to help over a period.

Ray Bell...i'm trying to insert all possible race results in my archive, http://racecarstory.netsons.org but i haven't a lot of information about australia and new zealand races (tasman cup, gold star, australian tourism) but i have nothing about race meeting from 60s and its minor races...you can send me only pages with race meetingsin text mode too (or PDF or JPG)? it would be vety important!

That's a very big ask...

I think you're asking me to type out the results of every race for a decade. Is that right?

In the main, RCN only showed the first three places in events other than major races.

Almost half the pages of each 72 to 96-page issue will have results on them.

Yes, only first three.

Frankly, I don't know whee you'll get much more than the first three anywhere. John Medley's Bathurst book has most of those results, but that's just one or two meetings a year.

I will see what I can do with the Warwick Farm results as we have all of them.
