Hello everyone,

Welcome to the twenties. I was wondering where would be good sources to look for races of the European Formula Vee championship in 1972?

There are some 1972 results in this thread:

There are many more Vee threads on TNF so perhaps there may be contacts there who either will have the results, or know a man who does. Any of these Vee Centre links of any use?

Thank you for that. I'm looking for races in the Vee 1300 capacity; not the Super Vee. Tommy Brorsson was European champion in Vee.

Frank Michael Orthey once had a website about Formel Vau. Even though it does not seem to exist anymore maybe he can help you, though. You can try to contact him via https://timesandmore...l-frank-orthey/. He also co-authored a book about the subject. (Do you know it already?)

I'm in touch with Frank. He's been ever so helpful. Was it still called the European Cup in 1972?

Did the race at Ring Knutstorp on April 30, 1972 count towards the European Cup?

Tommy Brorsson (Hansen) won both 10 lap heats. Gunnar Nilsson (RPB, Hyllinge MS) placed

5th in the first heat and 6th in the second heat. 6th overall.

I'm not sure. I think that was a domestic Swedish Vee round.

Sorry for the long wait. What are good pictures to find of the 1972 European Vee races?
