Adverts in forums for Autosport Plus subscriber

You're not the first to notice this and not the first to ask. We've yet to hear back from anyone about why this is the case.

As a subscriber, for me the ads don't show up, but the empty spaces where the adds are supposed to be, do show. In general with or without adds it is possible within browsers to add some own styling to any website, and in this case simply hide away the ads spaces. The ads still will be loaded from the internet though.

Websites often change styling for that very reason, and so any solution to hide away will most likely need some maintenance. But it can be done without being a web developer of any sorts. Just search how to do custom styling and a website basis for your browser and OS, and be willing to learn some simple CSS basics.

As already mentioned ads still will be loaded, so hiding them away IMO doesn't do much harm for the revenue of AS anyway. And if no ads are loaded as is in my case, well then there is even less harm done.

As of me popping in now I'm ad free again. Thanks to whoever was paying attention. Well done!

A round of applause for Autosport developers... the ads seem to have disappeared.

It still begs the question why it , and the login problems, happened in the first place.

^ Seriously annoying. As Hamilton said, cash is king, and these ads were probably paid for and so they'll keep running them to avoid having to refund.
