Albon and Hamilton collision Brazil 2019

With this quote, are you implying Hamilton deliberately had Albon off?

I'll wait for more than one perspective before comitting to Hamilton being at fault entirely or not, and whether this warrants a penalty. But looking forward to Sainz getting his trophy on the ****ing plane 

Hamilton will and should get a penalty, he clumsily took another driver out. I think it’s a great shame Sainz doesn’t get to stand on the podium because he’s been waiting so long for one and will clearly get credited with it.

This is my initial feeling as well. But as F1TV shuts down the coverage early, I have to wait for someone to provide SkySports post-race footage before actually being able to watch it closely.

Albon messed up by letting Hamilton have the chance, but Hamilton didn't take the chance, but took Albon instead.

Lewis is to blame for this. Should be penalized.

Lets see the video again. Most only watched 3 seconds of it. I'd like to see the video from Lewis cam view. 

Watching the move again Hamilton was on the curb on the inside so he didn't run into Albion, the question is whether he should have gone for it or not.

I think Albon was a little bit naive there, he left the door open, drivers with more experience would know that whilst his line was the more typical racing line, it is possible to take a different line as well.

I'd say Albon left the door open, but it was still an unnecessary, borderline careless move. So I'd understand if Lewis gets penalised.

Hamilton would've stormed pass with DRS. It was a desperate move. Feel for Alex.

Albon knows that he's got bigger problems if he cannot put himself into a podium position ever again....So this loss is quite small in the grand scheme.

I don't think Ayrton meant a driver should throw all judgement out of the window with that statement.

Too many angles to get a clear picture from the current replays. It's a curved braking zone.
 

In the moment, I though Albon was actually letting Lewis past because he was almost anti-defending.

EDIT: Having seen the onboard. If Lewis get's a penalty, it won't be undeserved. I still think Albon should have covered it .

Just saw the replay. 100% on Lewis. Overtake wasn't on. FIA stole Sainz first podium.

I think Albon is part of the conspiracy against Sainz. He seemed to want to help the cover up and wrongly admitted part of the blame!

Same, as typically if you're defending that corner you take the line that Lewis took and hope the other guy doesn't have enough grip to hold it round the outside...

It looks far initially but I think by the time both reach the apex both cars are under control and could have gone side by side... I think its just a racing incident overall, no real blame
