Looks like I will be attending a conference in Belgium for 28-29 April....this is optimum timing and paves the way form me to skip a little further north to attend the Dutch GP.

My only experience with the Netherlands are a few layovers at Schiphol; so I am not at all familiar with the country.

Any suggestion for lodging?  Should I look at Zandvoort or Amsterdam?  Hotels vs AirBnb?

I don't mind driving, so I will likely be looking at car rental for my time there.  I also see that there are regular train service to and from Amsterdam and Zandvoort - will have to weigh the options/benefit/preference to drive to the track or take the train if I choose to stay in Amsterdam.

I imagine this is going to be a hot ticket and will likely go very fast once opened to the public.  Any advise is welcomed and thank in advance!!!

I would recommend staying in Haarlem. Just 20 min by local train to Zandvoort. But Haarlem will book up very quickly. Try Airbnb

We stayed there in the summer.

I am planning on going to the Dutch Grand Grix as well

About half a days travel by train from Stockholm
