A person unable to login contacted me on another forum

I've received these messages on another forum:

 

 

Hi. Are you the same Anderis from Autosport forums? I have lurked on Autosport forums for a while and created an account with FTB as username but it gives me an error and I cannot visit the forum. If it would not be a problem for you can you contact an administrator? I sent forum an email but did not have any answers. Thanks in advance.

 

 

Basically it says "Sorry, you don't have permission for that". and "You're not allowed to visit this community" I opened an account at Sunday night and sent validation but when I logged yesterday it says "Sorry, you don't have permission for that and I can't view the forum without logging out and I actually can't even log out using the "sign out"as well. I don't know whether I missed something whilst creating an account. And yes, FTB is my username, not an abbreviation.

There is an FTB registered Anderis, September 6th 2020. I'm sure someone can help from Admin. You may be better sending a PM directly to Risil or Vitesse2

Should be okay now. The IP from which he registered was in a somewhat 'dubious' range and we always err on the side of caution due to the large number of spam registrations we get.
