Do like the livery. It's simple but has a fullness to the view of the whole car.

Not a fan of the livery. Needs another element to it. Maybe it will look better to me when it's on track

Livery last year was very cool, nicest one on the grid for me. This one is ok, but in my opinion not really standing out.

Almost sponsorless apart from their own fashion brand. Wonder how the fashion side is doing

I doubt its too much of a worry considering its all Red Bull money.

Honda still has quite some exposure on the AT.

The livery is an improvement from the boring soulless one from last year. Kinda reminds me of the Brabham BT60

It's not that bad, at least the Honda branding is more preeminent than last year. But it's not a particularly good looking one either.

It's not really my taste but it's well done. A thought out, cohesive design. Something which can't be said about many recent F1 liveries.

Lot of work on the bargeboards, sidepods sculpting and slimming down the rear end. Looks like a decent evolution of last year.

They need to at least half the horsepower deficit to Mercedes. Hopefully the ERS doesn't start clipping half way down the straights.

They fixed the ERS clipping last season if the Autosport Web is to be believed.

Peak power matched Mercedes, but there was a weakness in the ERS, Honda conducted deep research in its usability and found solutions.

Honda F1, 2021 will make a big leap with the introduction of new PU

It's not a good transition, it's like they've painted a 2D boxy livery from a single side view and expected it to look right in 3D.

Reminds me of those terrible 80s liveries like the JPS painted over 20XX carshapes. Wrong on all levels.

Nice livery and wheels, some serious retro vibes with that little extra stripe.

And an exciting driver pairing as well this year, will be rooting for Yuki (who isn't anyway??)

I'll believe it when I see it, this sounds too good to be true.

Interesting to hear first James Key and now Jody Eggington speak openly about recouping the lost downforce from the tweaked regs. I really don't put much stock into press releases, but Eggington sounded slightly more bullish.

In both 2019 and 2020, they were arguably the most improved team from season start to season end. Hopefully the relative continuity from last year will help them start 2021 strong, instead of once again playing catch-up.

I'd like if the colors were reversed, but that's ok. The front picture reminds me of some BMW Williams liveries.

Honda talk. Let's see the engine on track.

Except Honda actually is usually painfully reserved in their comments. If they really said that, I'm inclined to think their PU is great this year.

Other notes:

 - What gives, it's still last year's floor?

 - What gives 2.0, it's still the same nose? They had announced to use a token to make it slimmer, but it isn't

 - The PU packaging looks like an improvement, but I always have a hard time spotting differences in that area. Might be the same like last year as well.

Ergo: This still ist very much not the car we'll see in testing, I guess.

Will be a tight fight with Ferrari for 6th in the championship if they nail the gains they are claiming.

BTW it's a livery that looks slow. Not sure if this is because it looks like a Williams livery. Anyway, I like the humbleness.

Lol I love how people think Ferrari being 6th with 50hp less then competition will be replicated once they get their PU in order. It wont.

Am I the only one who likes this new livery more than last year? Especially as they are smart enough to make it predominantly blue now as there are too many white cars around.

Mercedes, Renault and Honda are not sitting still twiddling their thumbs. They are bringing upgraded power units as well. That Ferrari was not just draggy but moody and inconsistent as well. They would need lot more than a couple of tokens to fix that. Logically looking at it i see Aston Martin, McLaren and even Alpine finishing ahead. Not saying its not possible for Ferrari to recover their deficit both on chassis and engine just that unlikely to happen over one winter with a couple of tokens. Alpha Tauri had a car with very good tyre life and consistent in all types of corners.

This. Especially McLaren fans who talk about top three and challenging Red Bull for second as if Ferrari are not even part of the equation anymore.

A propos the Alpha Tauri, not liking the new livery too mich sadly. Hopefully they can be solid midfield at the least. Really looking forward to see if Pierre can push on and if Yuki can hold his own.

They wont be twiddling their thumbs, but Ferrari saying on record they wont have worst engine next season means they made big enough jump to expect competition wont be able to replicate (obv they were 40-50hp ahead). On top of that Ferrari was designed with high drag duo to engine power, once they got down so much on engine power this compounded issue even more - it was lose lose for them.

I do not expect it next year, especially given that Leclerc lead Norris, Sainz and even Ric in points 3 races before end of season in car with such deficit.

Certainly is when Tsunoda is on board....

... eh?...

Cause he’s short.

Meh.

I hope to see them mix up the race suits one time. That would be a glorious sight.

There's a non watermark, low res version of this image on Autosprint.

Cropped and brightened, you can also see the front wing "bumps" along the base, similar to what Alfa showed.
