Hi,

Thought I would start a topic because I have been struggling with this issue.  I have seen a few comments with folks having a similar issue on other sites but nothing in the F1 or regular media.

After the race was officially cancelled in July 2020 the organizers offered refunds.  I applied for a refund, got a confirmation email and since then nothing.  That appears to match the experience that others have had.  I have sent emails but have received no response.  There is nothing on their website addressing the issue.   They seem to have gone completely radio silence on the issue.

I have tried contacting my CC company to process a claim but too much time has passed since the original charge was made.

Just wondered if anyone else in the forum is having a similar issue and/or have been able to extract a refund.

Thanks

Doug

I’m in the same situation. About every month I get an email stating that they are sorry about the delay in refunding my money but there is nothing that they can do. They (Goo Tickets) blame the organizers. My credit card company is supposedly working on it, but I’m not confident.

Update.  I received an email a couple days ago from the organizers that refunds had been processed and this morning saw a credit on my credit card balance so I guess this is finally resolved.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the refunds being processed are so closely following the official cancellation of the 2021 event.
