Rest In peace, he will never be forgotten.
Kind of ironic F1 is having a race in Saudi Arabia the year when Mansour Ojjeh and Sir Frank passes away.

I had the privilege of having two private meetings with Sir Frank in his offices. Above all else, what most impressed me about that extraordinary man was his optimism, his beaming smile, and the sparkle in his eyes.
Here was someone who couldn't even move his arms, much less his legs, and yet by his attitude one would have thought that he was the luckiest man alive.

Very sad news.
’Legend’ is a word often overused in sports but he really is deserving of the title.
Posted 28 November 2021 - 14:45
I thought this might be on the horizon when the team was sold and that Claire wanted to spend more time with him in his final years, so sad but I think he was the UK's longest living paraplegic, always in P1 Frank!!
Still the last pure privateer to come into the sport with nothing and go on to win titles, what a legend

I have no words.
Condolences to the Williams Family, the Williams Team and the F1 community. This is a big loss.
RIP Sir Frank.

he also had a huge sens of humour about being in a wheelchair when he took part to the FOTA fan forum.

So sad. Williams was the team to beat when I began watching the sport.
RIP Legend.

Tremendously strong man, with a very long and complex story. Well done Frank and thank you.

RIP Frank. Legend.

A total legend. Rest in peace and my condolences to family and friends.
To me, Frank Williams was synonymous with F1 and was part of my childhood and beyond when I watched F1.
A true legend.

RIP, the legend. I wish he died as William owner. That's my only tiny regret for the great man.

I can believe it!
What an inspiration he was to those who had suffered misfortune, and a lesson to those who had not suffered misfortune but were feeling sorry for themselves.

But it's still called Williams, and I think that was more important to him.

A pure legend of the sport, one of the best privateers ever to rule F1.
A true race nut that breathed gasoline and ate tires marbles for beakfast.
I will remember Frank for having the best F1 team in the 80s en 90s. Everybody wanted to drive for him!
Just look at the stats:
Posted 28 November 2021 - 15:04
He had a good long innings, considering that he was dropped in the slips by the Grimm Reaper about 3 and a half decades ago.
There is no need on a motor sport forum to say anything about his life and achievements... we all can probably recite most of the details.
So I would only say that ....IMHO... his was a life to celebrated, rather than a passing to be mourned ... even by friends and family, to whom no doubt we all wish condolences at this time.
I am personally happy that he lived long enough to see the team he founded in good hands before he passed. I expect that gave him some comfort at the end.

Incredibly sad news.
My formative years were spent watching the likes of HIll, Mansell and Prost drive his cars.
RIP Sir Frank.
