Is the Bollox that vomits from James Toselands' mouth on Eurosport more cretinous than that we used to hear from BTs Keith Huewen?

I no longer watch the Spanish Championship that Dorna calls a World Championship, the TV presenters seem to be programmed to do and say anything to try and make the series acceptable.  Toseland I remember is one of the very few riders who have expressed concerns about the Cadwell Park Mountain, he said that "it had no place in modern racing".  He probably prefers the Hermann Tilke designed 3rd gear extremely boring stadium type tracks.

I had no idea what a prat Toseland is, until he got the WSB commentary job.  Not only does he spout bollocks, he will not shut up and repeats himself over and over again, throughout the weekend and during races.  I can't help feeling he's attempting to convince himself that he does have a clue about bike racing.  He's bigged up 3 riders at every opportunity, Haslam, Bautisa and Sykes - all of whom have ended up on their arses every weekend.  He's forever telling us Rea has brake problems, without mentioning Kawasaki can't do much about it as the bikes can't change spec.  The wally is so busy ranting he doesn't follow what's happening on track.

If that wasn't bad enough, bloody Heuwen has turned up for the last couple of weekends doing BSB.  He's not changed, still has to remind us every 5 minutes that he rode bikes 30 years ago.

I am not sure that ex-bike racers, however good they were necessarily evolve into good commentators.

Exceptions, I think, are James Whitham and James Hayden

Speaking amongst mates it seems I'm the only one who doesn't mind (which is not the same as 'likes') Heuwen's commentary. I find it preferable to Barnicle's gibberish, where he tries to list the whole roll-call of a teams sponsors - "Here comes Joe Bloggs on the Buildbase Relentless Tas by Suzuki Airwaves Honda, sorry Ducati", some rather personal remarks about a rider's build or looks and his constant efforts to crow-bar in the fact that the rider did schoolboy moto-cross for a fortnight back in the eighties.   ;)
