While looking for info on the recent new posting regarding Lotus 49 weight distribution I came across this 2015 paper. In my first quick review of it I came across a few errors (Jim Clark winning the 1968 championship in the 49 for one), but ignoring that (and probably more) the quotes provided by Chapman and many others are quite interesting.

No 49 weight distribution given, but (in 67) overall weight is reported here at 1100 pounds. Over the years it picked up another 90.
