It is a pain, isn't it?
I've been forced to look at a few of those facebook things, you find something you like, you try to find it again and it either takes a dog's age or you never find it.
And in this case, I spent several minutes looking and I cannot find it at all. Is there any chance you could post a link?

Well, the link arrived on a PM:
https://www.facebook...oryDaysRacing1/
I looked at the page for a while, but found nothing about Follmer.

I am not a fan of Facebook at all, but started to do it only reluctantly as I was missing out on many family things. But along the way I have found some very interesting motor sports groups that I do enjoy. One new one to me is ‘Glory Days of Racing’, and a fellow who I presume is the son of George Follmer (Mike) is posting an amazing array of fantastic pictures from George’s career. Man, that guy drove simply everything, and drove them all well.
Agreed. Many of the comments will test your patience when faced with some patently wrong identification (or other excruciating pronouncements), but keep your eyes above the line and on the pics themselves and there is plenty of treasure. If one can overcome sniffiness about Facebook then there are sites with some great unseen contemporary photos of whatever whets your appetite in terms of racing history. Imagine MotorSport’s “You Were There” on a grand scale.
