Today I had my first look at the BRDC's Silverstone Interactive Museum.  I thought some here might like to take a peek at the following snaps and consider dropping by to see it for themselves.  It offers so much to recommend to visitors of not only all ages, but all degrees of mobility, and indeed all degrees of enthusiasm - from zero to obsessive.

I really was hugely impressed.  Not a great number of cars or motor-cycles on display but so many ingenious gizmos and gadgets and things to do, and really interesting visual displays it doesn't really need many more.  A visit there really can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Four and a chunk stars out of five...

Thanks for the Photographs Doug. What a great initiative! I do really hope it is there for a while so I can see it when next visiting. It looks fabulous. MG

It's BT20 'F1-1-66' owned I understand by Geoff Underwood.  It's the car which Jack Brabham drove to win the 1967 Oulton Park Spring Cup, having used it to place 2nd in Mexico '66, then 6th at Kyalami '67.  He took 2nd place with it in the '67 BRDC International Trophy at Silverstone (how apt) and after doing duty as 'The Guv'nor's spare car at Monaco, then Denny Hulme's at Zandvoort it was retired by BRO and sold to John Love and Team Gunston back in South Africa.  John Love won at least five times in it.  Lovely car, and as far as I could see yesterday now beautifully presented.  I wouldn't say no.

I saw building and signage when I was visiting for the British Superbikes last weekend. I'll have to go back now!
