12.42 - race scheduled for 12.45 radios playing 'so called' biker music. No sign of the race.

Race down to 2 laps - 2 laps why 'effin bother.
Good to hear that the race is being flagged away by Dennis Trollope who I gather has not been too well of late.
Shame that James Hind on his 250 TZ retired whilst leading on the 2nd lap
Congratulations to those that made the effort to get the 250s back on the grid.
interestingly, well for me anyway, the date calendar for 1977 was exactly the same as this year so it will be 45 years ago, next Wednesday, 31st August when I managed to throw my 500 Crescent away at Windy corner and damage the vertebrae in my back for the 1st time. 45 years later it is still v painful - still all my own fault, plus all the others, wouldn't change a moment of it
