I’m surprised it’s not the ‘Aramco post-season Pirelli test in association with DHL - packing your season up in the right way.’

Pierre Gasly has covered more laps than anyone else, 66, in Alonso’s 2022 car!  :rotfl:

Some people gonna have a meltdown if Pierre has great reliability next year 😂

Teams are improving all the time. You should be so naive to think that reliability problems might not be solved for the next year.

SQ,
Are teams running 2 cars or are both drivers sharing 1?

Two cars each, one designated for a young driver.

Seeing Alonso's pic on the Autosport main page makes me think about Alonso testing for Jaguar all those years ago.

Interesting is that Felipe Drugovich went quicker as Lance Stroll.... and also quicker as all other rookies except Schwartzman

Agreed but it is fun to see daddy's boy at Aston Martin behind a rookie.

it's all rather meaningless looking at the times, but a good chance for the new drivers to get a good run

That would be sooo interesting. Norris doesn’t look like the kind of guy who would take that well…

It was yes. Explains some of the times probably.

And....now he isn't.

Still a very good showing and raises the question of why he isn't in a race seat for 2023, when has-beens like Bottas and Hulkenberg are.  Once again the F1 collective shoots.... and misses the goal (mandatory World Cup reference)

Well, the has-beens bring much more to the table than newbies

?  $$$$$$$$ ??

I can't think what else of value played out journeymen can contribute.  It certainly won't be great results.
