Finally after ten years research I have published a book about the Montier-Fords and their creator Charles Montier.

His modified Model Ts started competing in 1921 in hillclimbs and sprints, and with further modification competed at local and international events throughout France and Belgium (and occasionally Spain and Morocco) even taking part in the Le Mans 24 hour race from 1923 to '25.  These Fords were pushed to their limits through the 1920s until he replaced them with low slung Model As and even a Ford straight-eight constructed from two Model A fours and finally a single-seater with a flathead V8.

Montier also ran a Ford dealership which offered some much improved ‘carrosserrie’.

There is more to tell about other members of the family and various projects all related in the text along with a chapter about the few surviving cars.

Published by and only available through Amazon, search for Charles Montier and his French Racing Fords.

The book is also available in French titled Charles Montier Sorcier de la Ford T.

Softback, 10" by 8", 136 pages with many B&W and colour illustrations throughout.
