One of the funniest F1 related cartoons, by the Australian cartoonist Stoney. I have a copy but no way of posting it. Does anyone know if there is a www place where it can be viewed or a www place with other classic F1 cartoons? For those not in the know the answer was Lauda (I believe he has a signed original, asked for after he saw the cartoon) but it needs to be seen to appreciate.

Yeah, that one:
Who won the world championship?
Lauda
WHO WON THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP?
LAUDA!
WHO @%#* WON THE @$*%+# WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP?
LAUDA!!! (deaf $*#@!)
It's old, and you do need the pictures. Dates back to one of Lauda's original title years and was published in Auto Action.
Scan it and email it to DD - he might do the right thing.

I was reading your post that you have a copy of 'that' Lauda cartoon. I have been searching for it for ages. Are you able to scan it and send it to me? I would really appreciate it.

It's not very realistic...Woodstock should be saying things like "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII".

Someone, I think Barry Foley, did something similar.
I think it was before Lauda even got into F1, so it took a while for the rest of the world to catch up

It was "Demon Tweaks" , featuring Catchpole and others, weekly in Autosport, very sharp and funny! Probably early '70's?

I dearly miss Demon Tweaks. In the day when I got my Autosport I went straight to that page to see the latest cartoon.

IIRC, it was actually after the Spanish GP (ironically!) in 1976: Mad Dog shouted from a distance over the noise to Catchpole "Who won?" - Catchpole: "Lauda" - Mad Dog: "I can't hear you - shout LOUDER!" - Catchpole: "That's right, and Hunt was second".
