Does anyone know how many issues there were per Volume of the Autocourse magazines?. Also how long was it published as a magazine before going to the annual hardcover version?.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff Weinbren.

Autocourse in magazine form was published from 1951 to 1959 before going to the annual versions.

1951 and 1952 were quarterly (4 issues per year)
1953 ,1954, 1955 were 6 issues per year
1956 and 1957 comprised 12 issues.
1958 was 12 issues
1959 there were Jan., Feb., March, April 1959, titled, 'Autocourse and Sporting Motorist, published before the 'first' softcover annual volume of 1959.

The issue numbering of the magazines was by year until 1956 then issues were numbered consecutively, No 1 being April 1956 running until No 37 in April 1959.

1960 was published in two parts -- the split being between the French and British GP events, with annuals being the norm beginning with the 1961 edition.
